We are looking for people to join our amazing team of Care Professionals who are passionate about supporting our clients to enhance their quality of life.
With initial training and ongoing support, you will be matched with individuals based on personality, interests and hobbies enabling you to truly provide companionship-based care and build long lasting relationships. You will regularly visit the same clients in the community, providing care and compassion, with each visit being no less than 1 hour.

The Care Companion role includes:
- Visiting regular people in the community for a minimum of 1 hour to support with a variety of needs including personal care, emotional wellbeing, keeping socially and physically active and offering a listening ear.
- Communicating with families and nurses as part of the care team.
- Involvement in designing care plans and implementing creative ideas to encourage a better quality of life.
- Participating in team meetings to support each other in our roles.
Our initial 3-day training Programme covers all areas of knowledge you require to fulfil your role as a Care Professional. Thereafter you will be introduced to suitable clients in an informal setting to find out who they are as individuals and discuss their care needs. Shadowing visits are put in place with one of our Senior Care Professionals to ensure that you are comfortable with your role. You will have continuous access to speak to someone for support and guidance if needed.
