About the Role
As a Care at Home Support Worker based at Varis Court in Forres, you will help to provide care, support and housing management services at our development and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional service for our residents.
You will provide individual advice, practical assistance, direct personal care and emotional support to service users living at Varis Court. Working with our team, you will be helping us provide a service that promotes independence, maintains dignity, and encourages our residents to live full, independent lives.
Main Responsibilities
The Care at Home Support Worker role involves shift work, including weekends, early and back shifts. You will:
- Work with the customer to ensure practical care and at-home needs are met.
- Contribute to and implement the care planning process and work with external agencies, family members and carers.
- Assist with personal cleanliness, mobility and daily personal tasks.
- Provide all aspects of personal care in line with care plans.
- Provide medication administration from level 1-4.
About You
You will:
- Possess a genuine passion for helping people.
- Ideally, have 1 year experience in a care setting.
- Have the ability to work flexibly and as a lone worker.
- Hold an SVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or be willing to achieve this through training.
