We currently vacancy for a Care Assistant on waking nights (30 hours per week) The role of our Care Assistant on nights is to provide support to our elderly clients to ensure they remain as independent as possible, whilst living lives that are as fulfilled as possible. We support our clients with their mobility, mealtimes, continence care and with everyday living activities, hobbies and interests. Personal care tasks such as bathing, toilet, dressing/undressing are undertaken sensitively to ensure our clients receive care in a private and dignified manner.
Our night shifts are 'wakeful' shifts for the hours of 9.30pm - 7.30am. At Prestwood we work on a repeating rota of night shifts which makes it easier to plan home life and commitments throughout the year. Weekend work will be included on a rota basis.

Our homes, Prestwood Coach House and Prestwood Lodge are set in beautiful grounds, just outside Stourbridge, near to Wollaston, Kinver and Kingswinford but are not on a bus route so own transport or other arrangements need to be considered.
The job is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure (the cost of which will be met by the applicant currently £50). At least 2 satisfactory references and completion of induction induction.
