The Lighthouse is a specialist residential home for Children aged 13 – 18 with complex mental health and associated risk taking behaviours, and the clients and staff therein, as part of therapeutic and care services run by the Priory health division.
We already run the beautiful Newcombe lodge a short distance away in Bussage. This is what this new home is based on and we hope to replicate the success we have had so far.
The Lighthouse provides a unique package of care and support 24hours a day and 365 days a year, for some of the most vulnerable Children and Young people age 13 - 18 in our care system.
Our aim here at The Lighthouse is to ensure that the Children and Young people we invest in have the best residential experience in a homely environment. Care here is individually tailored and we aim to make the experience as positive and beneficial as possible. We work hard to meet individual needs and truly invest in our Children and Young people’s future.
We are recruiting for Children's Support Workers to join our team at our exciting new site, The Lighthouse.
You will be responsible for the supervision of Children and Young people who display a range of emotional, behavioural, psychological and other mental health problems.
Experience in a similar role isn't essential but would be preferable. If you have a passion for working with young people we would love to hear from you.
