Home Instead are one of the leading providers of care assistants for the elderly in the UK with over 249+ offices nationwide and have a highly successful team of care professionals who visit our clients in their own homes, offering support and assistance where needed.
We are now looking for people who reside in Welwyn Garden or Hatfield locations or thereabouts, (Borehamwood & Potters Bar), to join our wonderful team of supportive Care Assistants.
We are now recruiting new people who are seeking a career in Adult Care working in the community and who feel they have the right qualities to become one of our very special and supportive team members.
We are very interested in speaking to people who may not have previously considered starting a new career in Adult Care, but who now feel they have the wisdom, expertise, and common sense to embark on something fresh and new.
We really do not care about your age, as long as you are 18+ so if you are worrying about not being able to get a job because of your age, worry no more! The role will really suit early retired people who now wish to do something productive and get paid to do it. It will also suit those seeking a new life experience where they enjoy going in to help an older or vulnerable people live a better life.
Our job opportunities really suit people who need flexibility in their working patterns, so we are happy to discuss with you your individual availability and see if we can accommodate the hours you wish to work, we will if we can! Mornings, afternoons and evening work available.
We do require that you have a car - this is essential to enable you to travel between clients each day. We also require you to be able to work on a Saturday and Sunday on alternate weekends. We cannot offer sponsorship to overseas candidates at this time.

We would like you to bring to the role:

We offer in return:
- Average rates of £13.00ph (basic rates £11.00-£22.00ph)
- Double time for bank holidays
- Level 2+ qualified in Adult Care, higher rates
- Travel allowance £0.30 per mile

- Hourly pay or 20-30-hours contracts available, if suitable
- I hour minimum visits
