Are you a compassionate and caring individual who loves making a positive difference in people's lives? We are seeking dedicated Live-in Care Assistants to join our team and provide excellent care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

We pay £840 per week + a paid food allowance, we also offer a paid residential training course taking place at Head Office in Kendal week commencing 25th September. Also a free DBS & ISA Adult 1st check and you get free accommodation & food allowance whilst working.

Responsibilities:

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management.
• Assisting with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
• Performing light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Offering companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations with clients, promoting emotional well-being.
• Accompanying clients to appointments, social outings, and assisting with transportation needs.
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervisor.
• Assisting with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment.
• Promoting and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.
• Adhering to all care plans and following established protocols and procedures.
• Building strong relationships with clients and their families, fostering trust and open communication.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caregiving, preferably in a live-in care setting.
• Genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
• Empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills to connect with clients of diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to adapt to various situations.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift, push, and pull as necessary.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
