Care Assistant Wingrave, England

MacIntyre Charity
Full Time Wingrave, England 21823 - 24000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Is your career in care as rewarding as it could be? Are you frustrated with unrealistic schedules that leave no time for the people you support?

Why not join MacIntyre as a Support Worker? You will work with the same Children regularly and have the opportunity to build long term life changing relationships.

MacIntyre School offers an innovative curriculum individually tailored to provide each student with the best possible learning opportunities and outcomes. It is focused on developing communication, functional skills and independence in context. Learning takes place throughout the day whether at school, in the residential houses or out in the community, where we provide an exciting range of off-site learning activities. A lot of the fun happens on the move, so you must be a driver with a manual licence. Don't worry you won't be racing between appointments. Your ability to drive unlocks the opportunities for them to do the things they really enjoy.

Let's ask the children you'll be supporting what they want from their new Support Worker.

Jake wants you to pretend to be a superhero and help him fight fight zombies.

Alissa would love you to chase her around while she jumps in muddy puddles or to go out shopping with her to buy her new favourite toy.

Zoe would like some support with her writing and someone to have a late night chat with.

Elisha is a beautiful young lady who has a huge heart, she loves running, swimming and trampoline parks …… she wants a new bounce partner?

Working at our children's home near Aylesbury can be fun and rewarding. The children have autism or learning disabilities and loads to offer. Could you help them live lives that make sense to them? They might help make your working life, make a lot more sense to you.

Why not start a rewarding new career in Social Care and gain a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare for FREE? No experience necessary: we'll train you!

We have full and part-time roles available.
