Job description

We are a family owned residential home for the over 65's based in near Alverstoke, Gosport.

We are pleased to be offering excellent opportunities for passionate healthcare assistants to join us.

Experience preferred but not necessary as all training is provided.

General Duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with daily living needs such as: dressing, undressing, washing, bathing.
• Providing person centred care to the highest standards.
• Assisting/supporting residents with their mobility.
• Assist/support in the use of toilet aids, hoists and personal equipment.
• promoting mental and physical activity of residents through talking to them, taking them out, sharing with them in activities and recreation.
• Assist residents at meal times, and serving meals
• to work well with in a team as well as using your own initiative
• must have good humour, empathy, compassion and willing to learn and adapt.

These hours are for the afternoons only, to be discussed in the interview.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £9.50-£15.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All members of staff are required to undertake LTF tests before all shifts. All PPE and LFT will be supplied, and staff will be required to have had all Covid-19 Vaccinations, proof of which is required.
