Location: Sheffield (S4 8AR)
Contract type: Permanent - full time hours available
Shifts Available: Full Time Days and Nights
Rate/Salary: £10.09 PH

We are holding a Recruitment Open day on Tuesday 21st February at our Willowbeck Complex Needs Care Home, 95 Holywell Road, Sheffield, S4 8AR.

You can pop in throughout the day during the following times: 10.00am – 12.00pm, 1.00pm - 4.00pm and 5.00pm - 7.00pm.

Recruiting for Health Care Assistants, Registered Nurse’s (days and nights with £1 premium for nights) and a Cook.

About Willowbeck:

Willowbeck supports adults living with complex mental health needs, neuro-disabilities and physical disabilities.

The home has seven small units, each with its own specialism, including a mental health unit for those who identify as male, a unit for younger adults unit, and a unit for people with high functioning mental health.

About the Role:

Your role will involve supporting people with all aspects of their day-to-day living, which may include taking up new hobbies, meeting friends, getting involved in social activities, going to the gym or looking their best!

Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Providing personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and on occasion, assisting with meal times
  • Promote independence, dignity, respect and choice across service users
  • Support social and recreational activities; both in and out the home individually, or as part of a group
  • Maintain care records; recording observations, activities and assessments
  • On occasion, welcome and train new members of your care team
