The staff at Cleveland View Care Home are highly trained and experienced in delivering person-centred care to individuals with a range of complex needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's disease. They work closely with residents and their families to develop personalised care plans that cater to their specific requirements and preferences.
The care home has a range of facilities designed to provide a comfortable and stimulating environment for residents. These include spacious lounges, a bright and airy dining area, and a lovely garden where residents can relax and enjoy the fresh air.
Days 07:00-20:00
Nights 20:00-08:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and supervise the provision of quality care in conjunction with service users
- Support, train and supervise junior and new staff members
- Contribute to writing care plans and risk assessments in line with company policies
- Ensure full privacy and dignity is maintained for the dying and bereaved
- Assist service users with all aspects of their care needs, including physical, emotional and spiritual support
- Carry out regular checks on service users at intervals determined by senior staff members
- Maintain good communication with all stakeholders, including staff, external professionals, service users and families
- Maintain professional knowledge and competence by attending mandatory training days/courses
Required Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Genuine interest in working with the relevant service user group
- Experience/qualification in the safe handling of medicines
- Care Planning
- Satisfactory policy check and check against the ISA list
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Willingness to participate in vocational training programs
Desired Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Previous experience of working with the relevant service user group
- NVQ Level 3 in Care
- Previous supervisory experience
