Job Title: Care Assistant

Locations: Harlow

Pay Rate: £12.00- £12.50 per hour

Shifts available: 08.00am- 20.00pm and 20.00pm- 08.00 am

Hours: Full time and part- time


Total Community Care are part of the City and County Healthcare Group and are currently looking to expand our fantastic team of Care Assistants.


Being a Care Assistant is more than just a job it's a calling. Here at Total Community Care, we have an amazing opportunity to join our friendly Complex Care team in Harlow. We are currently looking for a care assistants for one of our bright spirited, fun and adventurous client who is passionate about fashion, manages her own creative magazine and enjoys socialising!

This role will include providing personal care, medication administration, therapy assistance, domestic tasks and social support. If you are currently a care assistant in either a complex role or in another setting, then this could be just the role for you!


About You:

  • Ideally enjoy fashion and have an interest in the field
  • You must be flexible, adaptable to any situation, self-motivated, friendly and reliable
  • A clean full driving licence is preferred but not essential
  • Previous care experience would be advantageous, but not essential as full specialist training will be given.
  • Part time team members must be able to work minimum 24 hours per week (2 shifts)

You will be working within a team providing care and support all year round. The shifts are on a rota basis and will include working some weekends and bank holidays.

Key skills and attributes required:

  • Caring, compassionate and a good listener
  • Experience caring for someone with Learning difficulties ideal but not essential
  • An energetic, happy person who enjoys forming relationships with people
