Whether you are newly qualified Paediatric Nurse or an experienced Band 5 Nurse with experience working with experience working with children in a professional setting, we would love to hear from you.

We select only the most highly qualified, trained, and experienced care professionals to support child and adult clients with the most challenging of disabilities and health conditions, including acquired brain injury, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, long-term ventilation needs and other neurological conditions.

We are looking for a Nurse to be able to join our team and help support our client with Spinal Muscular Atrophy and Neuromuscular generic disease. If you have experience in this, it would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.

Our client is based in the Coventry area and is looking for someone to join their team on a Full Time Basis between the hours of 10:30am to 18:30pm (Monday to Sunday).

We have regular supervision with all staff and will be able to provide opportunity to grow within the business if you wish to as well as being to share your knowledge with other members of staff to support them to also develop within their field.

As well as preceptorships for newly qualified nurses, we have an internal learning and development team to allow you to progress quickly in your career and learn more about your specific areas of interest.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse with Almond Care, you would be responsible for the following;

  • Supporting with tracheostomy
  • Supporting with Gastrostomy
  • Supporting with other needs the client requires
  • Liaising with the office and other Healthcare Professionals
  • Liaising with the client’s family while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Providing the best person-centred care for the client.
  • Deliver our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work.

The Ideal Candidate

You will need:

  • To have a full UK Driving License (Preferred but not essential)
  • To be an NMC/1st level registered Nurse.
  • To be able to work both independently with the client and part of the wider Almond Care team.
  • To have strong communication and organisation skills.
  • To be flexible to work the times required for the client (Between 10:30am to 18:30pm, Monday to Sunday)
  • Experienced Paediatric Nurse
  • Experience working with clients who have Complex Needs.
