Please note that this role requires you to have a full driving license. You also need to have access to a personal car.
We are recruiting Full-time staff in the Northampton/Wellingborough/Kettering area.
We welcome those with a previous carer, support worker and healthcare assistant experience.

Principal responsibilities
- Assist clients who need help getting up and going to bed in the morning and evenings, including dressing and undressing, washing, bathing and going to the toilet.
- To help clients with mobility and physical disabilities, including incontinence and use of personal aids and equipment.
- To care for clients who are temporarily sick and need bed nursing and help with feeding etc.
- To provide care and support for clients who are terminally ill.
- To help promote clients’ mental and physical activities through talking, outings, reading, writing, hobbies and recreation.
- To make and change beds, light cleaning, empty commodes and general tidying.
- To inspect, launder and mend clients’ clothes.
- To set tables and trays, prepare and serve light meals, clear away and wash up.
- To read and write reports and be involved in clients’ reviews and training activities.
- To adhere to all of Caremark’s policies and procedures.
- To report any significant changes in a client’s health or circumstances to the Field Care Supervisor or Care Manager.
- To encourage the independence of clients wherever possible.
Personal attributes
Care and Support Workers must possess the following qualities:
- Must have a license to drive in the UK and have access to a car.
- Self-motivated & well organised.
- Flexible.
- Caring & sensitive to the needs of others.
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Ability to communicate
Salary: £12.00 per hour – 40 hours per week
