Job description
Coopers Design & Build Ltd are seeking for an enthuastic apprentice who are interested in pursueing their career in the Carpentry Trade. The chosen apprentice will be working towards a Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship Standard.
The successful candidate will be expected to perform a wide range of duties covering all aspects of Carpentry & Joinery maintenance applicable to the trade and day to day reactive maintenance.
Duties include:
- Installing doors and window frames
- Conducting building frameworks, including walls, floors and door frames.
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Instruct a direct labourers and other construction helpers
Training to be provided:
- Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship Standard
- Level 1 Functional in Maths and/or English
Job Types: Apprenticeship, Full-time
Salary: £4.81-£9.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
