Caremark Southampton supports vulnerable adults in the local communities who need care and support in their homes. So that we can continue this support, we are always on the lookout for friendly, reliable, and compassionate people to join our fantastic team of Care Assistants. We would love to hear from experienced carers and those considering care for the first time as we offer full training and flexible hours.
All we ask is that you have a full valid UK or EU/EEA driving license and access to your own vehicle. If you do not have access to the vehicle than we provide an Electric Scooter Discount and Bus Pass Discount.

What is a Certificate Of Sponsorship?
Before a migrant worker (non EEA/UK) can apply to come to the UK to work or study they must have a sponsor.
Sponsorship plays two main roles:
- It provides evidence that the migrant worker will fill a genuine vacancy in the UK that cannot be filled with a suitably qualified or skilled worker or that they are studying for an approved qualification and,
- It involves a pledge from the sponsor that it accepts all of the duties expected of them when sponsoring a migrant.
What is a Care Assistant/ Care Support Worker?
A worker carer (also known as a visiting care worker, care givers or domiciliary care worker) visits people in their homes to assist with independent living. This includes personal care like bathing, dressing, assisting with medication, or help with mobility or moving. You will work in what is known as home care, for which there is an hourly rate, and you may visit many people at their homes throughout your working day.
What training do you provide?
At Caremark Southampton we take pride in our learning and development training program which can be done online from the comfort of your home or at our offices. We also offer classroom-based group induction training. The induction training needs to be completed prior to commencement of your post with us.
We also have annual update training as well as specialist training programmes. Finally, you will have the opportunity to pursue a Diploma in Health and Social Care: available to all our care staff who have successfully completed their probationary period.
I was unsuccessful in my application – how long do I have to wait before reapplying?
