Care Assistant
Location: Allostock, Knutsford
Salary: £10.95 - £11.45 per hour
Our client is a dual registered Care Home providing a safe, caring and therapeutic environment for the elderly.
The 40 en-suite bedroom home provides long and short term residential and nursing care, respite/ holiday care and post-operative convalescence.
The company are seeking Care Assistants to join the team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting residents when required , with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing, and all other aspects of daily living.
- Pay particular attention to assisting residents who have limited mobility, or physical/learning difficulties, making the best use of aids provided.
- Assist in the delivery of care for residents who are dying or who have a progressive illness.
- Observe care planning needs for residents and if necessary, complete written daily records as instructed and in line with the Company policies and procedures.
- Answer Nurse call system, giving assistance as required.
- Make and change beds, ensuring that rooms are clean and tidy.
