D.Hazell Surfacing and Construction Ltd are a small family run business located in reading. We specialise in surface dressing as well as tarmac surfacing. Everyday is different as we take on many different types of jobs. You will be guaranteed work from Monday - Friday and weekend work depending on availability.
Job description
We are looking for 2 labourers for an immediate start on a permanent basis. There are many duties involved depending on what type of job we are on at the time. These will be things such as; lifting and moving of materials, driving plant, concreting, surface dressing, tarmacking, hand laying, use of electric hand tools etc.
The ideal candidate must be willing to multitask and enjoy working in a team. Apart from being physically fit and keen to work hard, you must hold a Full UK driving licence and be able to get to our yard for 6:30am. You will then drive the works van to the job. Additionally, you MUST have a minimum 1 years’ experience working in construction industry as a labourer and hold a CSCS card.
As a company, we like to make good impressions to our clients so wearing the correct form of clothing and PPE is essential.
Any Plant and machinery qualifications are preferred but not essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
