Our amazing store in Derby are currently recruiting for a Customer Experience Advisor to join the team.


The purpose of the role is to facilitate the sale of vehicles and add on products to potential customers through delivering a great customer experience, working with the team to support other team members and customer through that journey.


The Customer Experience Advisor is the initial point of customer contact at the dealership. You will guide our customers through each step of the customer journey to ensure they purchase a car that is right for them. You will assist our customers with their enquiry by providing information and answers to their questions, whether they be about the available vehicles, performance or technology. You will present cars to customers, support in their test drives, be able to confidently explain the difference between a number of funding options, and provide detailed explanations on aftercare products.


You will be required to manage and maintain customer data using various system in line with Inchcape polices.


Main Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet customers
  • Assisting prospective customers to choose the right vehicle and products for them
  • Provide prospective customers with statutory legal requirements disclosure
  • Build ongoing relationships with customers
  • Carry out vehicle demonstrations
  • Work with the handover specialists to facilitate a smooth customer handover
  • Manage customer expectation at every point during and after the sale
  • Confidently explain the difference between a number of funding options, and provide detailed explanations on aftercare products
  • Build and maintain relationships with all team members
  • Manage and maintain systems and processes in line with Inchcape policy

The Ideal Candidate

  • A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role
  • Comfortable wokring as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Has a genuine desire to help people and the team
  • Builds warm and friendly rapport with customers
  • An effective multitasker who is methodical and efficient
  • Works hard to meet or exceed performance objectives
  • IT literate with the ability to move between multiple and bespoke systems competently
  • Previously worked in a customer focused environment
  • Understanding of interpreting data and performance metrics
  • Welcomes feedback and support to optimise performance
