Atlas of London is a White Glove Furniture Delivery Service based in Welwyn
Garden City & Hatfield. We are fast-paced, challenging, engaging and our goal is to provide an excellent service and grow as a company and develop our employees. We have a network of warehouses and are looking for a Warehouse Quality Chekcing operative that can integrate into our existing amazing team!

Salary: £25K+

We are looking for a meticulous Warehouse Quality Checker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of all goods received, stored, and shipped from the warehouse.

The Warehouse Quality Checker will perform routine quality checks on products, photograph items for clients and then re-wrap items to a highly protected degree.

The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Check client deliveries in as required, complete intake paperwork and input into our IT systems.
  • Assist with accurate checking, labelling and stocktaking procedures.
  • Loading/Unloading/moving of furniture and other effects at our warehouse
  • Using Forklift Trucks and other Equipment to rack and containerise orders in our warehouse (Training given).
  • Liaising with drivers and account managers on order queries, returns and product issues.
  • Ensure orders are picked and accurate for daily vehicle runs.
  • Ensure colleagues and visitors are adhering to safety procedures whilst on site and keeping the warehouse tidy and in order.
  • Be flexible to undertake any other duties as directed by your line manager.

· Good communication skills, Excellent organisational and time-management skills
· Well organised and a keen eye to foresee potential problems and ability to solve them
· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or damages
· Counter balance Forklift truck Licence is useful but not necessary·
· Ability to drive a 3.5 Tonne Luton is useful but not necessary
· The ability to work within a team & Basic IT Skills to be able to use inventory management software
· A good level of fitness
· Reliability – we are a logistics company and so being reliable and punctual is very important to us
