Lovett Care is seeking Care Assistants to join our amazing team at Hilton House. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Health and Social Care Professional to work in partnership with our team to deliver quality care for a diverse group of residents.

Salary: £10.90 per hour + £1000 Golden Hello

Job Purpose:

  • To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the General Manager
  • To support and enable people who live in the home to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual
  • To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain practices as up-to-day.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure residents are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their well being
  • Ensure that all required standards are maintained
  • Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of individuals you support
  • Develop effective working relationships with all team members
  • Assist in the support of new care team members to their job role
  • Maintain accurate documentation on pcs at the point of care delivery
  • Support residents to maintain a high standard of personal care, hygiene, and physical wellbeing
  • Ensure resident’s aids and equipment are maintained e.g., glasses, wheelchairs, dentures
  • Respond immediately to any concerns that may pose a risk to health, safety and wellbeing of residents, visitors, or your team
  • Dispense medication following Lovett Care policies and procedures
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information
  • Completion of mandatory E-Learnings
  • To embed and demonstrate our company values throughout your working day

Skills & Competencies:

  • Team Player
  • Reliable and punctual

Qualifications:

  • Good English written and verbal interpersonal communication skills

You will have:

  • Experience of working in a care environment (Preferred, however full training is given!)
  • Experience in role applied for (Preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in a customer facing environment
  • Competent IT skills
  • Satisfactory DBS Check
