We’re a FoodTech scale-up with over £15m of funding, and we’re on a mission to revolutionise food delivery! We’re doing this through a laddered product set that matches our operators’ needs:
Today we primarily offer Digital Food Licences. We create and franchise food brands, operated by anyone with a commercial kitchen via food delivery platforms. Combining our love of food with our passion for new technology, we help hospitality businesses diversify their revenue streams. How? By helping them develop, launch, and grow their own virtual restaurant to maximise their kitchen capacity and increase their income!
We take care of the branding, the menus, the packaging, the technology, and anything else you need to get your online delivery service off the ground. All you need to worry about is preparing the food and sending it to your new customers.
We've grown massively in a short period of time, and now have operations across Europe (UK, FR, SE, FI, HU, CZ, DE), the USA (FL, GA), and the GCC (UAE).
Our funding comes from some of the biggest names in PE and VC, and our Series A was raised from TDR Capital (owners of ASDA, David Lloyd, Stonegate, etc); Softbank; Fuel Ventures; and Pembroke VCT.
In short, we’re defining the future of the food delivery market. Nobody’s growing as fast as us and we're looking for a Business Development Specialist.
What You’ll Do
- Sell our proposition: Sell our proposition to interested parties and convert them into new licensees: Utilizing the lists provided to make outbound calls to generate interest leading to conversion; take inbound enquiries; develop relationships with our licensees to explore expansion opportunities and unlock their little black book -referrals are huge for us; follow-up enquiries obtained from our CRM and online marketing activities; manage, update and develop a good healthy pipeline
- Target the right Partners: We value long term relationships over a quick buck. Having understood our ICP, it is up to you to sell our value proposition; you’ll need to understand the market/our prospects pain points, and pitch accordingly; have great attention to detail as those little details do really matter; have a high level of resilience and motivation to succeed
- New partner outreach: From cold calling to Linkedin/Instagram, you know how to reach restaurant decision makers and are comfortable in doing so. Have the ability to connect and relate to prospect via phone/video call/in the field; extrapolate what the clients’ requirements are and be able to propose and tailor our value proposition accordingly; send out proposals providing details to the client so they can make a quick and informed decision; follow up and chase opportunities for business growth inc inbound, outbound leads and referrals promptly and proactively to maintain effective customer relationships
- Close the Sale: Ultimately you will be responsible for closing both inbound and outbound sales leads. Structure activity to maximize customer contact whilst achieving call-rate and personal productivity target; actively support and execute specific sales campaigns and promotions as required; maximize opportunities and hit sales targets
- Manage our pipeline: You actively work with our CRM, update leads and push customers through our funnel.
- Communication: You’ll work closely with the rest of the team to grow our business. Therefore, you will need great communication skills to update on workflow, inform on support needed and update on local events/trends that affect your marketplace

- You’re confident in approaching restaurant owners by phone, social networking, whatever means necessary!
- You’re organised and have great attention to detail as those little details do really matter
- You have a high level of resilience and motivation to succeed
- You’re a people person and can build long lasting relationships
- You’re excited to work in a high growth, fast-paced startup environment
- Previous start-up and/or hospitality/restaurant experience is a bonus
