We currently have a position for an part time Car Park Attendant to join our team at our site at Northampton General NHS.
Hours of Work:
Wednesday 16:30 to 21:30
Thursday 16:30 to 21:30
Friday 12:00 to 17:00
All applicants ideally must be able to cover the morning shift if and when the AM attendant is on leave or sickness.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Monitoring restricted areas within the site confines.
- Use a hand-held computer to record vehicle data.
- Issue Parking Charge Notices in accordance with company procedures.
- Giving directions to Customers.
- Assisting customers to vehicles if requested.
- Observe car park for any security issues (i.e., vehicle break in’s, vehicle accidents and suspected packages/vehicles) and report these to the line manager.
- To observe both Group Nexus and client & safety procedures.
- To complete a daily occurrence diary
- To complete site reports and timesheets accurately
- Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
- Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards
The role:
The successful candidate will be expected to sustain a high level of customer satisfaction whilst maintaining a clean and secure parking environment. Must be willing to cover annual leave and sickness, which may be at short notice, Patrol regularly to ensure a safe operating environment for both staff and customers. Working as an occasional Car Park Attendant you will resolve customer’s concerns, issue parking charge notices to vehicles parked in contravention, provide security patrols in the car parks, deter crime and implement traffic control measures whilst maintaining the prescribed standards of quality and safety within the designated areas. May also be required to work at our other sites, Carry out any other tasks as required meeting operational requirements.

Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour
