Priority Candidates will be considered in the first instance Wigan Town Hall Salary: Grade 10, £40,478 - £44,539 per annum. 37 hours per week Your role: You will oversee the delivery of capital projects within the Haigh Hall Masterplan. The work will range from the development of concepts through all RIBA Plan of Work stages, procurement of s and delivery of projects. Giving direction to the Haigh Hall development team to ensure the council is achieving the best value for money across all s, initiating close coordination of all the elements of project development and working with stakeholders and partners to ensure the Councils ambitions for Haigh Hall are achieved. You will be supporting the wider Team in the delivery of educational and capital projects across the council stock as necessary. About you: You will have a relevant building / construction qualification along with management experience. You will have the ability to make decisions based on an evaluation of all relevant factors and risks/benefits and will be able to present these in report format. You will have a logical, solution focused approach and a proven track record of successful implementation and delivery of construction projects. You will be able to collaborate with stakeholders and internal customers to develop deliverable objectives that ensure the success of the Haigh Hall masterplan and will be supportive of colleagues to assist with the delivery of council projects as required. The Haigh Hall development team are managing multiple projects both within Haigh Hall and across the wider Haigh Hall Woodland Park, to a budget of £35m+. The projects within the masterplan are varied, interesting and offer development opportunity for the right candidate. The wider Capital Projects Team are responsible for capital and maintenance projects across Council stock including educational and corporate buildings.
