The Canine Health Admin Team Leader helps people with sight loss to live the life they choose by supporting the health requirements of their Guide Dogs through leading the Canine Health Administration Team (CHAT). They ensure invoices are processed quickly, vet queries are responded to efficiently, and clinical health information received from veterinary practices is communicated to the Dog Health and Wellbeing team so they can take appropriate action.

For this role you’ll be working 35 hours per week, worked 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We are looking for you to attend the office at least 2/3 days per week, the remainder of your week may be spent working from home.

Candidate requirements

To be able to fulfil this role, the skills and experience we are looking for in a potential candidate include;


Essential

  • Experience and track record of delivery in service-focused roles.
  • Systems and processes experience.
  • Proven people management track record.
  • Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.


Desirable

  • Accounting/bookkeeping qualification.
  • Working with veterinary practices.
  • Experience of Accounts Payable processes.
  • Change management experience.
  • Data analysis and manipulation.
