Exciting opportunity to work at a highly successful family run holiday park.
Wallace Lane Farm is located on 23 acres in the beautiful Cumbrian Countryside, on the northern border of the Lake District National Park.
We have a range of 15 lodges, cabins and holiday cottages all with hot tubs. In addition, we have approximately 60 camping pitches including 25 hardstanding for caravans and motorhomes and 45 grass pitches for tents. We also have a small on-site shop.
We are an award-winning site with many repeat customers from all over the world.
We are seeking a pair of suitably qualified individuals, preferably a couple willing to work together, to fulfil the role of park Wardens in our busy holiday park. The couple would ideally split responsibilities between them to cover all areas from office work to general maintenance and all aspects of the running of the site.
Applicants will be provided with on site accomadation firstly in a two bedroom holiday static caravan cabin and if they wish within 18 months may have use of one of our on site cottages. pay will include all accomadation costs including gas electric etc
Based on a couple working between 60 and 80 hours per week pay will start from £33,000 to £44,000 depending on hour worked and experiance. this will be based on a five day week incuding some weekends will include usual holidays and pension
Responsibilities Include;
general managment of the site and overseeing other staff and cleaners
taking bookings and payments and manning the shop and office at times.
· Ground Maintenance grass cutting etc
· General Maintenance & Repairs to rental units & buildings mostly minor work changing light bulbs fixing minor daily repairs
· Hot tub Maintenance & cleaning
· Attending to emergencies and repairs out of hours
· Health & Safety procedures & checks
· Overseeing cleaning team and ensuring high standards are maintained across the facilities.
· Cleaning units/ toilet/ shower facilities.
· Restocking & monitoring the on-site shop and replenishing stock from wholesaler.
· Answering phone calls & enquiries on emails.
· Taking bookings & managing guest queries using the online booking system.
· Processing payments and ensuring booking payments are received on time.
· Managing rotas and staff.
· Ensuring laundry order is made on time.
· Dealing with visitors daily and handling complaints if they arise.
· Various other issues that may arise on the daily operation of a holiday park
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £44,000.00 per year
