Job description

As-Suffa Institute is looking for a passionate and energetic Male Maktab Teacher to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will have previous experience teaching the Holy Quran, Tajweed and basic Islamic teachings from the syllabus to young children (Boys) between the ages of 5-15.

You will be required to work 10 hours per week, Monday to Fridays from 5pm – 7pm (During Ramadhan this will be in the morning).

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week

Salary: £9.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Birmingham B6 4UX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

  • Maktab Teaching: 1 year (required)
