Job description
Modern Edge recruitment are recruiting for experienced call handlers, on behalf of our client whom are expanding their team. Our client offers nationwide vehicle assistance, with a fleet consisting of recovery and specialist vehicles and commercial service vans, with a customer base ranging from small family run businesses to prestige and multinational organisations.
Shifts available: Day shift, Night shift, Part time. Overtime available upon request
Location: Dudley
Rate of pay: Up to £12 an hour DOE
Daily duties include:
- Handling inbound and outbound calls, acting as a first point of contact for customers, dealing with their requests and queries in a timely manner
- Continuously managing customers' expectations throughout the breakdown from initial call to completion
- Actively promoting services to customers
- Communicating professionally and effectively with customers, subcontractors, and our members of staff
- Operating in-house computer systems
- Organise and plan attendance of technicians, recovery drivers and subcontractors to conduct repairs/recoveries within agreed time frames
- Ensuring all completed breakdowns are noted and recorded correctly for the purpose of invoicing and compliance
The ideal candidate would have:
- Excellent customer service skills in a highly pressurised working environment
- Have experience of high volume call handling
- Have experience managing customer expectations and planning workloads for recovery drivers and technicians
- Worked in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle industry or transferable skills
