Remote Client Service Representative
This position is fully remote, work-at-home (telecommute) after the initial training period in Richmond, Virginia. All necessary equipment will be provided. Reliable internet service is required.
Full and part time positions. Night and weekend shifts. Must be able to attend on site (Richmond, Virginia) meetings 4 to 6 times a year. May be required to work in the Richmond, VA location for additional training or coaching after initial training period. Must live within 30 miles of the Richmond Metro area.
Job Description:
Virginia Veterinary Centers is a group of major emergency and specialty animal hospitals located in Central Virginia. The hospitals see both scheduled and walk in patients, and often receive 1,000+ calls per day. This position will answer and direct calls during peak hours, as well as provide basic information about the hospital to clients that call in.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls for all three hospital locations.
Communicate client needs to hospital staff.
Provide basic information to clients, including location and hours of our centers.
Digitally notate client interactions as needed to provide information to staff.
This position does not involve any cold calling or sales
Requirements:
Basic technical proficiency – Will need to use a modern office phone & Windows computer.
Comfortable speaking on the phone with many clients throughout the day. Able to move through calls quickly while providing information to clients and hospital staff with courtesy and professionalism.
Experience handling multiple phone lines.
Previous client service / Call center experience preferred.
A quiet workspace appropriate for answering calls.
No knowledge of Veterinary medicine is required.
Compensation:
$15/hr.
