About the Role:
PDSA is a unique organisation that provides expert veterinary care for people across the UK who otherwise would not be able to afford to treat their pets. What we do really matters!
We are looking for a Procurement Business Partner to join our small, friendly and supportive team to work with a range of business areas. You will be running tenders, conducting contract negotiation and supporting key business projects.
We operate a business partner methodology to develop, deliver and support PDSA’s Contracts & Procurement strategy. This ensures best value for money and contractual compliance. You will be key in this process as well as ensuring that PDSA’s interests and brand are protected, mitigating risk and ensuring best Procurement practice is followed.
About you:
To achieve success in this role, you will have the following skills and qualifications;
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating procurement contracts seeking the best outcome while balancing the level of risk
- Building effective relationships with a range of internal and external colleagues and partners
- Being a team player who is willing to share knowledge and support team colleagues
- Full MCIPS membership is desirable, although consideration will be given to those who are currently studying towards achieving this or have equivalent experience
