Café Assistant/Barista Bristol, England
Job description
We are seeking two part time Café Assistants to join us at Temple Street Canteen. Temple Street Canteen is an amazing, well thought of café in the area of Keynsham in Bristol and we are known for our delicious, ethical, locally sourced fresh goods which we offer with a social conscience.
What will you be doing:
- Preparation of food and beverages
- Serving and clearing tables
- Making Barista style hot drinks
- Till Operation
- Stock replenishment
- Any other duties which help with the smooth running of the café
The two roles will cover the following:
First role - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday between 8am and 5pm
Second role - Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 8am and 5pm
The successful candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work, is reliable, self-motivated, good with customers and will become a valuable member of our team!
Salary will be dependent on age and immediate start required.
Hospitality and customer service experience will be preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-36 per week
Salary: £6.70-£12.87 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bristol: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Barista experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
