Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cafe Assistant to join our team at Urban Jungle. As a Cafe Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. You'll run the coffee shop independently, though our close-knit nursery team steps in to assist during peak periods. This is a unique opportunity to work in an environment where greenery is a part of your daily backdrop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision and care.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests.
- Maintain a clean and organised coffee shop space.
- Handle transactions and operate the cash register accurately.
- Assist with stock management and restocking of coffee shop supplies.

Qualifications:
- Prior barista experience is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Fast and efficient work ethic, with the ability to work independently.
- A passion for plants and a desire to learn more through our training program.
- A positive attitude and a love for working as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
