Job description
We are looking to recruit two experienced café assistants to join our small friendly team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in food preparation making sandwiches, salads & soups
- Prior knowledge of food safety & hygiene standards. Ideally you will possess a Level 2 Food safety certificate but this is not essential
- Worked in a fast paced coffee shop environment making smoothies, coffees, serving customers & maintaining food & cake displays
We are closed at weekends & bank holidays (Holidays are pro rata depending upon the days you work) & our usual shift patterns are 7:00-13:00 (food preparation) or 8:00-15:00 working within the café.
As a small team, we do require everyone to be flexible & help cover other team members holidays. In return we are flexible with what days you can work & invite applicants to specify which shifts & days most suits them.
