All About the Role
We are looking for a CAD Technician to join our team, this is a great opportunity to become part of an integral team who are operating in a high volume, fast paced environment. This role is not a design role, it’s an end-to-end customer focused delivery opportunity, balancing between interpreting, creating & producing digital drawings & 3D models from the customers specifications & requirements to aid in the programming of our profiling machines. We are looking for the right individual to help drive the company forward and be part of this exciting time for the business.
Specific tasks could include:
- Programming for profiling machines such as lasers & saws
- Producing digital drawings & 3D models from the customers specifications & requirements
- Minimising waste & scrap per program.
- Responsible for machine workload
- Working with operators to achieve overall Equipment Effectiveness
- Customer liaison on a daily basis
- Liaising with all internal departments

Essential Skills for the role:
- Excellent verbal, written & numeracy skills.
- Previous CAD experience in a similar environment.
- Must have confident computer skills & a good understanding of Microsoft Applications with excellent attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills including the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively.
- A positive flexible attitude and approach.
- Willing to learn and develop
