Job Overview:
This is an opportunity for a self-motivated and detail-focused CAD technician / architectural drafter skilled in preparing residential construction drawings (these will be varied and include joinery, setting out and bathrooms) to work alongside our in-house architects and designers.
You will be passionate about architectural details and enjoy finding workable and practical solutions on a daily basis. We are seeking a collaborative team player with an excellent work ethic, strong attention to detail and takes pride in ensuring their work is done to the highest standard.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ability to prepare drawings, elevations, sections and details to the highest level and to timescales
- In particular this includes Joinery, Setting Out and Bathroom Technical drawings
- Technical knowledge of building details and processes
- Collating and organising drawings
Skills, Knowledge, Attributes and Experience
Essential:
- At least 2-4+ years as an Architectural Technician with experience in UK prime residential sector
- Excellent AutoCAD and Microsoft skills
- Experience with joinery, setting out and bathroom construction drawings and detailing
- Strong communication skills, oral and written (fluent English will be required)
- Attention to detail with a value on accuracy
- Be enthusiastic; professional; hard working, reliable and organised in their approach
- Possess the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Excellent reference will be required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
