Job description
Bouygues Energies & Services Contracting is recruiting for an CAD/Revit Technician to join the team based in Manchester. The CAD/Revit Technician will work on projects within the fields of Data Centres, Pharmaceutical / Clean Room Environments, Process Engineering & Industrial Works.
The successful CAD/Revit Technician will produce and maintain building information models/drawings to assist in the overall design and construction process. Working with some of the industry’s most talented people, the Technician will have skills in the design process and will work on exciting projects for the company.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and issuing all relevant drawing and modelling documentations for projects based on given specifications and calculations
- Create, adapt and amend existing CAD/Revit designs that need editing
- Work closely with the rest of the team on projects and check your own and team members drawings
- Work to company standard and adhere to processes and procedures
- Visit sites as required in order to gain practical experience of installation practices and apply these to improve design effectiveness
- Ensure work is completed accurately and to a high standard
- Ensure Health & Safety is considered throughout all duties
Essential
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages
- Experience with AutoCAD/Revit
- The ability to solve technically challenging problems
- The ability to communicate and hold technical conversations, internally and externally
- Ambition and enthusiasm to gain further training and grow with the company
- Be organised with excellent timekeeping and attendance
- Commercial awareness
- Positive approach to learning
Desirable
- A degree or HND / HNC in a Construction or Engineering discipline
