Job description
Buyers Admin Assistant Opportunity
Location: South London
Salary: Competitive
Type: Full-time
Ultimately, you’re not only looking to start or continue your career in Buying. You’re looking for an unforgettable adventure. You want to be part of something constantly evolving, challenging and exciting.
At Robert Dyas, we are modern retailers who are curious and interested in new things. We scour the world for the latest products and smart solutions to make life easier.
We are not interested in the flimsy or throwaway. For us, new products must be enduring as well as innovative. Modern homes and gardens can be pretty demanding. There are always a million and one things that need adding, doing or fixing. We run our business as shopkeepers, not just shops, offering the new, the rare and the necessary with the helpful advice and guidance our customers need.
Our Trading teams have the challenge of making sure we buy the right products at the right time, meaning this role can make a real impact on our results. We are an omnichannel retailer with over 90 stores in the UK and a rapidly growing, successful ecommerce business, and as a Buyers Admin you would be helping to drive the growth of the business to ensure the success of your category.
You will soon be putting your newfound knowledge and skills into practice as you support the Buyer with competitor analysis, managing samples, assisting with new product and range development and ad hoc projects.
You don’t need to have a particular degree, or experience in retail, but a passion for retail, an eye for the next trend and the desire to succeed in the exciting yet challenging world of retail are crucial. You’ll thrive in a constantly changing working environment where decisions happen quickly and everyone works together to make the incredible possible.
