Location - Our offices are based in Manchester, Macclesfield, London and Marlow but we are open to applications from all over the UK as we have remote and flexible hybrid working policies. #LI-Hybrid

Responsibilities:
A Lucid Medical Writer can create synergy between science, technical information and commercial objectives to deliver compelling programmes.
Medical Writers at Lucid are responsible for delivering strategic and scientific value to key Lucid Group accounts. They are ambassadors for Lucid Group, helping build the profile and client base of the Company.
A Medical Writer at Lucid is responsible for:
- Developing high-quality medical content based on complex clinical data
- Maintaining high levels of quality and accuracy on any given project, are comfortable using multiple writing styles and adapts as needed
- Delivering appropriate communication for each client and builds good relationships with them through their trusted service and knowledge
- Ensuring factual accuracy in all content development
- Demonstrating knowledge of client data and how to communicate effectively to a wider range of audiences
- Supporting the development and delivery of new and organic business proposals
- Building effective internal partnerships with other capabilities to successfully deliver the project plan on plan and to budget (client services, project management, creative, strategy, etc)
- Creating synergy between science, technical information and commercial objectives to deliver compelling programmes
- Acquiring outstanding knowledge of client data and understand both therapy area and commercial objectives
- Champions excellent standards in everything they are involved in
- Delivering appropriate communication for each client and building good relationships with them through their trusted service and knowledge
- Being an invaluable scientific and strategic partner for clients
- Ensuring excellence is always delivered for all projects, on time and on budget
- Contributing to the pitch process and new business proposals
Qualifications:
What we're looking for:
Essential Criteria:
- A degree in a scientific, medical or life sciences field
- Good attention to detail
- Experience managing their own time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience writing for a variety of medical/scientific audiences
Desirable Criteria:
Experience working in an agile environment- Experience working collaboratively and efficiently in a cross-capability team
- Experience working within a healthcare communications agency environment
- Experience working in the healthcare/pharmaceutical sector
- Proven ability to build professional external partnerships through their work
- Proven ability to create high-quality medical/scientific content
