Job description
We are looking for a keen enthusiastic person to join a fun friendly team of Men and Women, at Hampton Butchers inside Dobbies Garden Centre, Peterborough. We are looking to hire a shop assistant to work alongside our Butchers and existing Shop Assisstants to serve our customers.
Responsiblites will include:
- Serving Cooked and Raw meats
- Prepare, Pack and Label product for sale
- Taking Payments
- Keep up the stock levels in the shop including topping the meat counter up and multideck
- Offering excellent customer service
- Ensuring the workplace remains clean and tidy throughout the day
- Ensuring the companys food hygiene practices are observed in all elements from storage, preparation through to the finished product.
Butchery skills would be desired, however if you are enthusiastic and willing to learn they are not essential.
Experience working in a Food/Retail enviroment would be ideally be desired.
The jobrole will include 25+ Hours , occasional Weekend work when required/covering holidays.
