Job description
We are looking an experienced Butcher to join our company. The ideal candidate is familiar with the anatomy of livestock and is comfortable using knives and other tools in an active meat cutting plant setting
Responsibilities:
- Perform cutting, chopping, and boning operations on a meat carcass.
- Cut meat into portions.
- Cut meat into smaller portions.
- Split a carcass into two or more portions.
- Chop meat into smaller pieces.
- Boning knives as required.
- Disassemble boned meat cuts.
- Packaged and labelled cuts of meat.
- Cut, grind and prepare meats and meat products for delivery.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
- Perform quality inspections on meats and other products.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation controls.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
