We have a superb opportunity for a Reception Manager to join the team.
As Reception Manager, you will be required to ensure every guest receives the ultimate service. You will be an effective communicator, experienced in complaint handling, a true motivator of people and fully experienced in all aspects of Front Office including collating guest feedback, billing and revenue posting. To act as a Duty/House Manager when as required
This is a full time role working 40 hours per week over 5 days to include a mixture of early shifts from 7 - 3.30pm and late shifts from 2.30pm - 11pm or 3pm to 11.30pm. This will include weekends on a rota basis – something you will be responsible for.
What we're looking for in a Reception Manager
You will be managing a diverse, fast-paced environment with a young, dynamic and enthusiastic team. The ideal candidate must be well-presented, have exceptional organisational skills, use their initiative and have the ability and personality to build rapport with all guests & members.
- A minimum of 3 years’ Front Office experience is required at Supervisory level or higher
- Comprehensive knowledge of Guestline Rezlynx PMS is an advantage
- Experience in understanding, delivering and exceeding guest expectations
- Fluent in written and verbal English
- Ability to motivate and empower a team
- Great attitude and a willingness to be flexible! Be prepared for the odd curveball or more
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt according to business needs
- Active engagement in the industry, active in organisations and awareness of market trends
