Joining our Estates Department in the West you will play your part in helping to support the teams who maintain, repair and improve the historic and iconic buildings English Heritage cares for.
You will be part of a small team providing a high calibre and responsive administration support service to Estates Department. You will facilitate and support your team to ensure they provide excellent technical services in landscape management, building conservation and Mechanical and electrical maintenance of sites across the west from the Isles of Scilly to Stonehenge and all the way north to Chester. Helping support the team with a wide range of different work streams and initiatives. You will have a passion for working with others and enjoy being a part of a busy team. As a confident communicator, you will be comfortable building rapport with Senior Managers, Team Managers, Technical specialists and External Contractors using your organisational skills to provide exceptional service at all times.
There is flexibility around where this role is located and could be based at our Regional office in Bristol, fully at home or a hybrid of the two.
As a natural problem solver you will seek to use your initiative to overcome practical issues that come up as part of working in a busy, but remotely working team. With the ability to follow processes and procedures and take the initiative, you will be able to manage the unexpected as and when it arises.
