Our customers are predominantly leading multi-national businesses in automotive, aerospace, medical, heating, cooling, retail displays, electrical and water distribution, and building products. With 3 sites across the UK, Goodfish Group is looking for a Administrative Assistant, based at our North Wales site. You will be providing comprehensive administrative support to the site, the HR Team and Planning team when required.
Outputs:
- Support administration activities across the HR & Development function including recruitment, training, discipline, and grievance, etc
- Provide ad hoc site administrative support to Production and Materials Planners as requested including providing cover for planners/buyers
- Meet and greet visitors in reception, being the first point of call.
- Preparing meeting rooms for visitors with lunch and refreshments when required.
- Monitor access to the building through the use of CCTV
- Coordinate contractor activities as directed
- Be responsible for ensuring contractors who arrive on site have the relevant insurance, are inducted in line with company policy and records are kept up to date
- Ensure training is up to date and maintained and inline with the budget set i.e. First Aiders, Fire Wardens, FLT Licence
- Coordinate the new starter process including; induction, checking new starter paperwork, issuing electronic clocking in access, and liaising with payroll
- Take control of workwear stock, keeping track of what is available
- Ordering office supplies, workwear, PPE and stock for the vending machine when required
- Dealing with any correspondence, and filtering to the correct department
- Arrange collection of carboard and waste
- Responsible for fleet management; keeping track of DVLA checks for employees using company cars, scheduling MOT & Services and Tax.
- Manage the leaver process return of company property and liaising with payroll as appropriate
- Maintain HR records on BambooHR in accordance with GDPR including; sick notes, RTW
- Provide support to the Site Leader with HSE administration
- Suggest and implement continuous improvement and cost saving ideas
Personal:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail and accuracy
- Manufacturing experience, particularly in plastic injection moulding/extrusion
- IT literate- fully proficient with MS Office applications (predominantly Excel and Word)
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple competing priorities
- A strong work ethic and team orientation
- Experience of working with Human Resources Information Systems and compliance with GDPR
- Fleet Management Admin experience
Hours:
Your working hours will be 08:30 - 14:00, Monday - Friday. A flexible approach to working additional hours is required.
