Role Summary

Best in class social is increasingly important in driving revenue growth across the MailMetroMedia (MMM) portfolio. As such, we are looking for a Business Manager, Social who will be responsible for developing the commercial strategy across social, from advertising to ecommerce.

The focus of this role will be to maintain and grow existing partnerships with social networks, supporting our wider commercial teams as the expert in MMM's social offering and delivering the strategy for revenue growth, whilst maintaining MMM's reputation of being an industry leader when it comes to seriously popular social content.


Key Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Be a social media evangelist who is able to effectively communicate the strength of the MMM commercial product suite to internal stakeholders and advertisers, agencies and the wider market
  • Be the expert in the MMM commercial offering across Meta, Twitter, TikTok, Snap and YouTube
  • Responsible for maximising the value and associated revenue from the MMM social portfolio, and unearthing new opportunities from our platform relationships
  • Analyse and adapt the social commerce strategy in line with business requirements
  • Consistently refine our existing commercial product suite, working closely with vendors and social networks
  • Develop new commercial packages and support the sales team in communicating these to market
  • Ensure our product playbook is communicated to the market, in line with Sales and Marketing efforts

Revenue Growth; Ads & Commerce

  • Manage and maintain relationships with our partners to drive revenue across Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube
  • Build, track and manage a revenue forecast and pipeline to achieve periodic targets and build a broad base of repeat revenue from key partners
  • Work with the wider sales team to create go-to-market collateral to ensure success
  • Work closely with commerce and affiliate teams to drive incremental revenue from social commerce
  • Develop social commerce strategy with a focus on hitting budgeted lines and communicate WoW progress to the wider team
  • Create and update go-to-market sales collateral to ensure our social commerce product suite is effectively communicated to the market

Team and Internal relationships

  • Internal liaison between Sales and Dev and Editorial, for all product and set up
  • Develop strong relationships with the Sales and Partnership teams to grow revenue and ensure that all MMM products are packaged and marketed correctly
  • Work closely with monetisation and platform teams to ensure viability of new product suggestions
  • Participate in delivering MMM positioning at industry trade shows and panels
  • Network with partners and clients on a social level and attend external events

Role Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working within digital marketing and/or social media
  • Deep understanding of how to generate revenue through social media and digital channels
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and developing third party partner relationships
  • Strong analytical skills, with proven ability to share insights that drive results and customer value
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Impeccable Excel and PPT skills
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload
