- Term Time plus 4 weeks in holiday periods
We have a vacancy for a School Business Manager from September 2023.This is a key role in our one form entry school. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of financial and administration management. This position is responsible for providing professional leadership and management of the business elements of our school, ensuring effective resource management and strategy, to support our educational aims.

The successful candidate will:
- Provide strategic guidance and a long-term vision to the leadership of School Support Services, Financial Resource Management (including Procurement), Management Information & ICT, Human Resource Management, Payroll & Pension Services, Facility & Property Management, Health & Safety Management, Extended School, Marketing, Infrastructure and Procurement within the school.
- Ensure the development of a strategic marketing and long-term communication policy, to promote the school and define its aims and goals.
- Develop stakeholder engagement via appropriate communication channels and maximise income generation.
- Promote the highest standards of business ethos within the function of the school and strategically ensure the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s learning objectives and the needs of individual children.
- Play a major role in contributing to the overall organisation, management, and direction of the school.
- Provide professional leadership and management of school staff, in partnership with the Headteacher, to enhance their effectiveness to achieve improved standards of learning and achievement in the school.
- Report to the Governing Body and external Inspectors (including Ofsted).
- Develop, and implement, policies for the school.
