What we’re looking for in our Business Manager:

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills, with an ability to motivate large teams of people to achieve targets.
  • Demonstrable experience of using performance management tools to drive staff performance.
  • Ability to understand and deliver against multiple contractual targets and measures.
  • Experience of financial tracking and forecasting, with the ability to understand and work towards financial budget and preparation.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret performance data to maximise opportunities for driving high performance.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, evolving environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to understand and optimise business opportunities using multiple provisions for our customers.

Key responsibilities of Business Manager include:

  • Track and record customers on the CRM system to evidence the customer journey on the programme being delivered.
  • Analyse performance data, identifying potential risks or trends and propose/implement solutions to maintain and exceed performance expectations.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team performance targets and Key Performance Indicators monthly, seeking feedback and input to continuously improve and deliver strong outcomes for our participants and commissioners.
  • Maintaining strong external relationships with teams, employability and skills teams and partnership organisations including key employer accounts.
  • Provide customers with quality constructive feedback that allows them to improve and prepare for the dynamic work environment.
  • Working with the Employment Relation Managers to identify areas of BD based on caseload needs.
  • Performing skills gap analysis and putting development plans in place for staff in the team.
  • Actively working with third party providers and Jobcentre Plus leads to ensure relevant specialist services are accessible to the participants.
  • Working with the Quality and Compliance team to implement areas of best practice or plans for improved compliance.
  • Create awareness amongst the employers about our company's vision of equal opportunities and values.
  • Provide customers with quality constructive feedback that allows them to improve and prepare for the dynamic work environment.
  • Provide support to the stakeholders to enable them to sustain employment through good practice and overcome any foreseen barriers.
  • To use MI reports and be responsible for the day to day management the team activities.
  • To work with Job Centre Plus and other key Partners to progress relationships.
  • Ensure team are manage with the values of the organization and have a positive can-do approach.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, evolving environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
