About the role
Carrier is seeking an intelligent motivated business intern who is ready to apply their knowledge to business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. The intern will assist in writing reports, conducting research, analysing data, leading special projects and making recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
This role will provide a valuable experience for an individual wanting to gain the skills and experience needed for a successful future career in business management.

Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and research skills
- Must be a quick learner and have a desire to gain knowledge
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential
- Detail-oriented individual with extensive experience using Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organise, direct, and coordinate projects and meetings
- Capable of handling multiple demands and competing priorities
- Ability to work independently after receiving initial guidance
- Ideally, the candidate should be in a gap year of a business, economics, or finance degree.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Carrier Commercial HVAC Service organisation
- Perform research and analysis in support of both operations and sales
- Analyse business data and market information to uncover meaningful insights
- Assist in highlighting & resolving business issues using systems and data.
- Help plan and design business processes and make recommendations for improvements
- Create Excel models to estimate costs and benefits of multiple actions and/or solutions.
- Support the preparation of budgets, detailed business plans and PowerPoint presentations
- Help launch new initiatives
- Responsible for special projects to support key business initiatives
