THE ROLE
- As the field-based BDM for Wales & the West, you will have an exciting opportunity to have a real impact on a fast growth company.
- Manage independent accounts & deliver new listings across ‘Wales & The West’.
- Working with your accounts, creating unique sales tactics and incentives to drive performance.
- Work collaboratively within the Drop Bear team and with our partners.
- Travel to the brewery once per month for team meetings.
- Be a positive Drop Bear brand ambassador and take part in events as required.
- Reporting to the Head of Sales you will help develop & be instrumental in executing the regional strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Securing permanent listings with new customers across Wales & the West, creating & executing activation & promotional plans to ‘pull through’ sales.
- Build relationships with regular customers to build their ’Alcohol Free Beer’ offering, improving availability & visibility through best-in-class activation.
- Represent Drop Bear at sales events across the region & UK.
- Identify potential new accounts & introducing them to Drop Bear Beers, educating them on the category opportunity that ‘No & Lo’ offers.
- To work with the Head of Sales to build winning relationships with new wholesale partners.
ROLE COMPETENCIES
- A passion for beer and a clear understanding of what makes these brands successful.
- Self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Good communication skills with an ability to engage with external & internal customers at all levels.
- Awareness of the ‘No & Lo’ category within the On & Off Trade.
- Excellent time management with the ability to multi- task, prioritise and plan effectively.
- A mindset that will make the right decision for the long term.
- Demonstrate an affinity with working within B Corp principles.
- An inclusive personality who is happy to work as part of a diverse team.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Drinks sales experience, specifically within the on trade.
- Experience working with free trade & wholesale customers.
- Knowledge of the On & Off Trade marketplace across Wales & the West.
- Full UK driving licence.
