The Office for Apprenticeships and Skills is an independent department with a keen focus on supporting and developing professional services colleagues within the team. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated, highly organised individual as a Clerical Assistant.
The successful applicant will provide a professional clerical service that supports our academics, employers and apprentices, working closely with apprenticeship administration teams across the University. You will help us deliver effective apprenticeship support in a quality and compliance focused role and will contribute to the delivery of a first-rate apprentice experience, working both independently and as part of the team.
You will ideally possess excellent data processing skills, a strong attention to detail, and be comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst managing multiple priorities. There is a lot to learn and we are very happy to teach you all the skills and knowledge you will need to flourish in this role. Your positive approach to problem solving will help you in all of your communication across University teams.
The University offers a great range of benefits including discounted technology, impressive annual leave allowance and a variety of training courses to help you develop both personally and professionally. We may be able to consider requests for part-time or job-share which will be considered subject to business need.
This position could be based at the University's Lincoln campus, or at our Holbeach site. We embrace flexibility and a hybrid culture of working; therefore as part of this role you will experience both working as part of a vibrant campus community, and the opportunity to work remotely when not required on campus.
