Job description
Passionate about building exciting new brand partnerships? Love Dogs? Do you want to make a difference?
We have an exciting opportunity for a business development professional or a fundraiser to join our team as Business Development Manager (Corporate Partnerships) to help increase our income from our corporate partnerships and help us continue to make a difference to Dogs and their owners.
Dogs Trust has exciting plans to grow its reach and impact over the next ten years with the launch of our new organisational strategy. We’ve been helping dogs for over 130 years. In that time, we’ve found forever homes for hundreds of thousands of our faithful friends, dramatically reduced numbers being put to sleep, and helped to all but eliminate strays from the UK’s streets. We've also established universal microchipping, campaigned tirelessly on important issues such as puppy smuggling and grown influence and impact on the international stage. But we know there’s so much more to do. There are still millions of dogs - and people who love dogs - around the world who need support.
We’re looking for someone who relishes the excitement of new business and has exceptional commercial acumen, as this role has a heavy emphasis on bringing on board new cause related marketing and strategic partnerships. You will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and acquiring new partnerships with brands, while also supporting the development of Dogs Trust’s partnership strategy and preparing creative pitches and proposals.
With proven success in securing five -six figure revenue in sales, marketing, or partnerships you will have excellent communication and relationship building skills and an ability to think laterally and creatively.
In return for all of this, we have a comprehensive benefits package, which includes excellent annual leave and pension allowances, and you will you join a team of highly professional and driven colleagues in a brilliant upbeat and collaborative environment, all with a genuine passion for dog welfare.
So, if you are a fundraiser looking for a next challenge or a sales professional who wants to make a difference, we’d love to hear from you!
Please note that while the role can be based anywhere in the UK there is a requirement to be present in our London Head Office once a week.
