Now a part of the Highbourne Group which proudly consists of City Plumbing, PTS, DHS, NSS, The Underfloor Heating Store, Plumbnation and Plumbworld serving trade and consumer customers across the new build, social housing and repairs & maintenance sectors of the residential and commercial construction categories.

The role in short
A front end developer working as part of our web team developing our e-commerce website. We will prioritise the right candidate over the perfect experience.

Onto the nitty gritty!
Own HTML, CSS & Javascript development
Understand best practice regarding development, implementation and performance
Assess front-end performance
Implement testing and ensure delivered tasks have tests in place
Maintain build pipelines (currently using Webpack)
Give input on task specification & design
Coordinate with existing development team on tasks
Help colleagues improve their own development skills
Have experience of a front-end component system such as Vue, React, Svelte, web components, etc)
We’d like to meet someone with
Successful candidate will be expected to be a knowledge leader, proactively sharing knowledge with others on the team
With strong autonomy, motivation and time management skills
Who communicates clearly with patience and understanding
Able to retrospectively assess tasks to find opportunities to improve
Able to see different approaches and decide on the best path forward
Keen to share knowledge with and learn from the rest of the team
